UNIMARK's vision it’s aligned with the interests of its members, as well as the producers and distributors of the products they trade. The benefits each party can gain will be greater the more efficient and effective the relationships they establish and the actions they implement.
We want to be present wherever, whenever, and however our customer desires, promoting and ensuring the satisfaction of purchasing needs for all involved. This includes needs planning, product and service analysis, and standardization of acquisitions. Competitive pricing, personalized service, and constant presence are the three fundamental pillars of our vision as a company.

Because we aim to grow in a safe and sustainable way, UNIMARK is founded on values such as honesty, respect, and dedication.
Our values also include seeking greater negotiating power with suppliers, better discounts and promotions, more favorable payment terms, and cost reduction, all of which allow us to compete with the largest market operators. Growth through information sharing fosters learning, helps avoid greater business losses, and ensures quality in deliveries, made possible by higher purchase volumes and a better-structured logistics system. All with the primary goal of becoming increasingly competitive.

The reason for our existence
Constituída em 1996, a UNIMARK é uma cooperativa de grossistas e retalhistas de produtos de grande consumo que se uniram com o objetivo de aumentar os seus níveis de eficiência e eficácia empresarial, empenhando-se conjuntamente na melhoria das condições de aquisição aos fornecedores e de venda aos seus clientes. Agrupa neste momento 19 empresas, num total de 40 cash&carry com 1500 supermercados e minimercados associados.
The union of all participants has the primary objective of providing greater purchasing power, leading to improved pricing and payment conditions. However, the role of this union doesn't stop there, as it actively promotes independent local retail through various retail brands, with the largest being supported by 16 wholesalers under the “Aqui é Fresco” network, which comprises around 700 stores. Other brands include “A Nossa Loja” and “Viva.”
Dedicated to establishing partnerships and enhancing synergies, in 2008, UNIMARK made an agreement with Euromadi, the largest purchasing center in Iberia. Through its subsidiary in Portugal, “Euromadiport,” UNIMARK now conducts part of its purchasing activities and utilizes a centralized payment system.
Because commercial activity is increasingly influenced by decisions made at a global level, in 2011, “Euromadiport” joined “EMD-European Marketing Distribution,” the largest purchasing center in Europe, benefiting from negotiations at the European level both in terms of supply contracts and private label brands.
